I do not beleive that if someone complains about service that it means they are cheap and do not want to pay the expense for their animals. I LOVE the care that my animals receive at Banfield and you can't beat price as far as programs are concerned. The actual Veterinarian is fantastic. HOWEVER, I have two healthy dogs and have now visited three times in this past week and have to return AGAIN in a couple of weeks with BOTH of them. I have always been very laid back and easy going but the level of ridiculous at Banfield in Webster, TX has exceeded even the highest of extreme scenarios.
My problem with them is their HORRIBLE reception. They have no clue what they are doing up front and never have (at least for the past two years of seeing my boys). They constantly screw up appointments, do not leave notes in the files or communicate with each other, charge for things not given, call back to confirm wrong appointments after just hanging up with me (and don't even remember our conversation a half-hour ago) and it only gets worse.
This isn't something new that I have just started dealing with, it's the last straw. If the actual care wasn't so good- I'd have left a long time ago. Only bring your pets here if you have time to deal with MORONS at the front desk and have plenty of time to shuttle a healthy animal back and forth for what they forget to do. I really should have my own parking place there. They continually ask why you are there when THEY set the apointment to begin with!!!!!!!
All in all- not the best place unless you are prepared to get everything they tell you in writing at each appointment. I now have to bring in a file EVERY visit to show those idiots exactly what they said and even then, they can't tell me why they said it. They even have the nerve to get snarky and rude when you are frustrated with the stupidity and confusion.
