I was informed by my local Banfield (33428) that Walgreens and CVS carried Vetsulin and since they were out of stock, I could purchase it there. Banner announcement!

They do not carry it! They tell me tell me that none of the area stores have it and that I should order it from Pet Meds. Banfield's price is not the cheapest but once I order from Pet Meds with overnight delivety, it will be way more that. I love Dr.

Zeretski (The local managing Vet.) and am sad that she will be moving to another store closer to her home because of her pregnancy.

However. due to what I determine to be a callous response from the clerk that answered my phone call, I will probably be boycotting Banfield and the affiliated Pet Smart.

Monetary Loss: $20.

Location: Boca Raton, Florida

Hi Anonymous - Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your concerns, and we apologize that you were not satisfied with your experience. Could you please call our Client Advocate Team at 877-500-2288 or email cat(at)banfield(dot)com so we can help?

While Banfield and PetSmart do partner to deliver high quality veterinary care, goods and services, they are separately owned and operated. I am also passing this information along to PetSmart to make sure they are aware of your feedback.

Most sincerely,

The Banfield Team

Prob because they are super bored of dealing with people who leave getting meds for their pet to the last freaking minute & then moan because they have to pay extra to get it overnighted and given them attitude because of their poor planning!!! With essential meds ALWAYS request a refill at least a week before you actually run out that would give you & your poor vets office time to figure out where you could get it so that it doesnt becomae a last min emergency or even worse you cant get it. Plan ahead people, plan a.h.e.a.d..............

I used to work in a pharmacy and alot of people would get human insulin for their dogs. Why dont you ask your vet about it. It is way cheaper that way. Also you can get your needles cheaper there for your dog also.Check into it and save hundreads a year.
