Then I realized this morning after giving her some of the medicine that they shorted me about 10ml and that they reused my bottle. It has a previous label on it. Hope they cleaned it thoroughly before using it for my medicine.

Banfield Pet Hospital - NO GOOD!

Wow, how does this company stay in business with such lack of customer service - from front office to their corporate "customer service" employee? Honestly, why do they even have this "customer service" dept when they are obviously not interested in anything other than my $$$. OMG, never dealt with a business like this one before. I thought that perhaps the front office gal was having a rough day, but the guy in their customer service dept (should be called some other name) was just the same. OMG, Banfield, at least pretend. Pretend as though you care about pets and even pet owners.

Just submitted my Banfield complaint as well. They are there solely to sell the Plan and provide excessive, overpriced services.

IT was difficult to cancel the Plan as I tried within a couple hours of my visit. I will NEVER again walk foot in there. My little visit will cost me $255 but they still try to remind you that really for 150 more you can have the PLAN...heck, no...so I can come back in and get scammed for more overpriced immunizations, tests etc!!

Everything is 25 % more here and impersonal. RUN, don't walk, from any BANFIELD!

BANFIELD PET HOSPITAL WOULD NOT SEE PET AFTER PAYMENT (SPRINGFIELD VA, FRONTIER DRIVE)

I have been using banfield for probably 7 or 8 years, and I routinely drop my pets off first thing in the morning and pick them up after work when vet has completed services... They always tell me that my pets will be finished by 4:00pm, but in 7 or 8 years, they have NEVER been ready by then... I routinely wait 1-2 hours past their delivery time for them to complete and return my pets. One Saturday, I was told that Drop-Off was until 8:30am. I walked into the facility at 8:32, waited behind someone at the counter for 20 minutes before it was my turn, and the rep. said it was now 9:00, and they would not see my pet. They still had at least a 7 hour window, and the procedure was minor.... I have paid my monthly wellness plan dues for 7+ years for 2 pets.... Banfield has NEVER returned my pets within an hour of "on time", yet refuses to see them because of 2 minutes? REALLY? To make matters worse, when I demanded to be seen, the lady at the counter called the police. When the police got there, they laughed, but this is the kind of customer service I expect when going to Banfield these days.

Not even knowing or being a customer at Banfield, I will NEVER, NEVER take my pet here. And I will definitely tell ALL my family and friends NOT to go to this Franchise of a hospital because of the reviews I am reading.

They schedule in blocks, makes no sense. They think they can get more people in this way but their incompetent doctors they hire can t handle the volume and you wait an hour for your appointment. It's all about the cash

1) It's not insurance, it's a 'Wellness Plan' so it doesn't cover emergencies. I have a 2 pets on plans & it clearly stated this on both of their sign-up forms in bold words (they were put on plans about a year apart).

2) You would have seen that & all the terms about annual payment/their cancellation policy if you have READ THE CONTRACT, which clearly you didn't.

This is a *** complaint by someone to dumb/lazy to read what they are signing.

Banfield Pet Hospital in Barnegat Township, New Jersey - DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO BANFIELD IN MANAHAWKIN

I brought my five month old, 6 lb maltese to the Bnafield Hospital in Petsmart for the first time as our regular vet was farther away and being in Petsmart all the time I figured it would be convieniat. My puppy had an ear infection previously so she is wiggly when you try to look at her ears, The "nurse" held her forceably but did not hurt her to do this. But when the vet came in, alone, (Candela, Leonard A DVM) he said " I heard this was a tough one" and grabbed her by her scruff and with his other hand he struggled with her to hold her down on the table, she resisted of course and he got rougher and she started to yelp and *** on the table, all the while he was ssaying "I will win" . I grabbed her and said you are not taking care of my dog! and ran out of there, he followed me out yelling that my PUPPY needs obidieance training, and that I better pay the bill. When I told him he was abusive, he told me to get out of the store! I will never go back there!

I had an experience here in Virginia. They diagnosed my little dog with megaesphogaus.

In august when he started coughing and having lung congestion they told me it was his megaesphogaus disease. He got real sick four days ago and took to a good vet hospital and they told us that he had a leaking valve which couldve lived with if Banfield wouldve hed legit doctors.

My passed away this morning from it. I have told all of my friends and other websites that if you have a animal do not go to Banfield ever!

Just so we are all clear on Banfield's response their Client Advocate Team did nothing but direct my call to the Manahawkin office to speak to their office manager/nurse who obviously sided with her boss.

I had the same experience at the Pet Smart location in Kennesaw Ga. The Vet tried to strong arm my German Shepherd while my GF was in the room with him.

I was looking at the pamphlet at the register, I hear my GF talking loudly to the vet telling him to release our dog. I jumped the counter and found my GF with her hands on the vets arm who was still holding my GSD by his collar, both front paws off the table. I grabbed the vet by the arm and slung him against the wall. I dared him to raise a hand so I could break it off.

He never said a word. Needless to say we will NEVER go back to that *** hole.
