Like these guys have said a vax reaction will happen almost imeediately and 99% never happen after 24 hours. Another thing is low blood sugar is not caused by vaccine reactions. this was something that could not be stopped unfortunately.

Banfield Pet Hospital in Madison, New Jersey - Banfield Wellness Plans are a rip off

My dogs started their lives with service in Banfield Veterinary hospitals. They have been on their wellness plans since then as well. I have recently lost both dogs. When I contacted Banfield to cancel the plan, I was notified I owe them money. I tried to explain there had to be some balance from previous years. They told me they cannot check that so I owe them money. They would not let me speak with a supervisor or manager. The man on the phone was defensive and threatening, albeit not physical threats. I can't believe they are still in business. Do NOT use Banfield Wellness plans. Do NOT use Banfield the Pet Hospital.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO BANFIELD ON 82ND!The nurses and doctors are nice, BUT.... I took my cat there this past week and here is what I experienced: I was first given a quote for services in the $900 range for cleaning and stitching an abcess, pulling a tooth and...

people want stuff for free...Banfield is a business not a county pet hospital...people need to research breeds and possible complications before they buy pets that may have possible issues and conditions. You have to pay for what you need in life and this includes stuff for a pet YOU ADOPTED

Banfield Pet Hospital in Dallas, Texas - Not too happy!!!

I called Banfield to let them know my dog had died 2 weeks ago and they told me I couldn't get out of the contract. They said I have to pay the monthly charge for 2 more years. I can't believe they would make me pay when I no longer have my dog!!! This is so NOT right!!! I will report them to the BBB. I will also recommend that no one use this Company... I am saddened enough that he died, let alone that I have to pay $22.00 for 2 more years, when I can't even use there services. What am I paying for? If I were to get another dog, I would have to get a whole new contract! I wouldn't be able to use the same contract! Bunch of bull!!!

That doesn't make any sense... The Banfield contracts are for a year.

There is no reason that you should be paying on the plan for 2 years.

It should only be one. Are you exaggerating or is it really 2 years?

They must of told you the wrong info. Yes it is a one year contract So if the pet did pass away you would just have to pay for the remaining months.

Just like a phone bill if the client that had that phone bill passed away and its on a two year contract they still have to pay the remaining months. But at our clinic if your pet passes away and you want to get another dog our hospital waives off the wellness plan membership fee.

Banfield Pet Hospital in Stone Mountain, Georgia - Banfield is money hungry

In December of 2008 my hubby saw a cat staggering down our street. He stopped & picked him up & took him to Banfield because our vet was closed (Sat. late)Cat was very skinny and had oosing sores on both shoulders. They said they could save him. I knew they should have put him to sleep right then. They worked on him & cleaned him up. $400, later we took him home. By Monday he'd become lethargic & wouldn't eat either, so my hubby took him back. The vet said that he wasn't going to live and they decided to put him to sleep. (duh!) He died before they could give him the shot & the vet insisted on giving him the shot anyway. That cost another $200. The vet techs thought we were crazy to do this, but at least he was given love, kindness, warmth & food in his last hours.

So I spent an hour at Banfield the other day and had to listen the people discuss their displeasure with the length of time they spent waiting for service. Like going to my personal doctor I always plan on spending an hour or so waiting to be seen and then in the exam...

Is he even old enough to use website? He wants shots for his dog, and does not want to wait for the people who came before him.

I can't wait till this child writes on the website he will get an earful.

Really it seems like this eight year old child trapped in a man's body expects special treatment and to before those who came before him. An adult can be patient a child cannot.

Banfield Pet Hospital in Littleton, Colorado - Banfied do not go there

Our Yorkie had a bad resp infection and was given several antibiotics to take. At our one week checkup it was then noted that he had an ear infection. Some meds were then prescribed and a day after giving ear drops to the dog he lost his hearing. This went on for a couple of days and looked online the drug we were prescribed was known to cause hearing loss in geriatric dogs. Our Yorkie is 12. upon questioning the vet she had seen this before and told us that we should have read the drug insert. We believe we should be told what potential side effects are and decide what we want to do.. Seeing another dr to see if issue can be corrected . Do not want these people to touch my dog ever again

Banfield Pet Hospital in Santa Clara, California - Don't go to Banfield, they rip you off!!!

I will never go there again to Banfield on Coleman, San Jose, CA!!!!! I have brought in a 5 month old kitten with a cold. When given the estimate, the nurse said I was signing to only pay for $300. When I got the bill at the front desk, they charged me $550. When I expressed my concerns to the vet before the estimate that my family & I are strugging due to being laid off, she gave me her word that it wouldn't be over $300. When I received the bill I told the man nurse that work there that this is not what I signed to pay for and I couldn't afford to pay $550, the man nurse started laughing. He also started to threaten me & saying that it's too late, they did the procedures, & u have to pay. The vet called me back saying she wanted my kitten to be on medication for the rest of her life, I was suspicious & thought they wanted more $. I went to another vet that gave FREE EXAMS & that vet ended up telling me that the cat was fine n just had a common cold! They don't care about you and they just want your money

Banfield Pet Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas - Banfielf is full of ***

Stay as far away from them as possible.1st it took them 4 hours to see my dog although the associate convinced me to purchase the wellness plan and make an appointment. The associate answered. My questions Incorrect. When my dog was stolen I could not opt out my plan. They gave me the run around. In the end I paid $204 for a dog I no longer have. I endured terrible customer service. The supervisor never returned my calls. They charged me for services I received in the plan. I did not even want them, just a check up. They are liers. God don't like ugly they will not be in business very long. The worst dog wellness place I ever dealt with.very unethical! Jackson.Ieshia@gmail.com
