Banfield Pet Hospital in Clinton, South Carolina - DO NOT BRING YOUR PET!

I brought my dog in for an ear infection. After several tests, several thousands of dollars, and the vet prescribing the same medicine continuously, not to mention having to bring my pet in every other week, his ears will still in very poor condition. Every visit, I got the response "They are looking a little better"!!! I have since taken him to a real vet, after 2 visits the ear infection is gone. To top it off, I was a member of their pet discount group, and they threatened to send me to a collection agency because I owed $23.

Banfield Pet Hospital Wellness Plan Review

Our pet was prescribed the wrong medicine which eventually led to the loss of our pet. The vet took no responsibility for her error. Now over $1600.00, no pet, we still have to pay the difference for our wellness plan. We will never set foot in any Banfield or Petsmart again!

why would you ever consider them again? 1306 reviews about a dozen which are positive.

I believe those reviews are put in by Banfield PR employees paid to monitor these sites.

save yourself some heartache and take your beloved pets to a real animal hospital not these Banfield mills that are only concerned with money! So sorry about your dog hope he is doing better.

Good luck canceling your plan, I discovered that! Cost $32.00 to cancel my contract at the end of one year. Their little automatic renewal deal in their contract.

Today my husband & I had to put down our companion of 14 years, Baily. It was a heartbreaking day, but the Greenville, SC Banfield team was fantastic. They never tried to push unneeded procedures/testing like so many of these reviews state. When we were deciding on if we'd take Baily to Banfield for this last stage of his life, the reviews we read almost talked us out of it. I'm so glad they didn't. They were knowledgeable, empathetic & genuinely caring. Maybe it's not Banfield, but the team that works at your location. I agree with so many comments, based on those ppls experiences...I would have been livid, but our experience was better than expected considering the situation. A very special thank you to: Brandi, Bri & especially Dr Nixon!!

Banfield Pet Hospital - Moxidectin Injection Review from Boca Raton, Florida

Put a stop on your credit card. Call the credit card co. @ tell them you lost it @ you will be issued a new # . When banfield calls to inquire about your payment, write @send (return/ receipt), to the ceo. Tell them you are disputing the contract. They will scare you with "collections". They cannot ruin your credit status. Call up experien or exifax. They will explain how to handle it from there. Banfield killed my dog with Moxidectin injection . . .I finally settled with them, but I try to alert anyone I can of their dirty tricks! Check out class action suits . . .and join. good luck!

I posted this on my Facebook page because I just had a horrible time canceling my contract which they automatically renew. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last June just three months after adopting my puppy.

Now they are too far away and much more costly than locally owned vets.

They are rude on the phone and have no empathy for me or my little companion. I'm very thankful for him, he keeps me company and loves me unconditionally whether I feel good or not.

You shouldn't have even taken a questionable dog through pet smart to get to the bandfield without a muzzle! That could have been an innocent child's face instead and you wouldve been in more trouble.

Train your dog, take proper measures and next time tell the staff right away your dog is questionable. Plain and simple.

Dr. Edwards is a great vet and had right to be upset with you and angry.

I actually think it's really nice that they only charge you for services you used before the passing of your pet. You only pay for what you used.
