Banfield Pet Hospital- very slow and inefficient service. Cuyahoga Falls,Ohio

First Time goin there I had an appointment and ended up waiting forever as receptionists let others go before me just because they walked in with a cute dog. Then she completely ignored me and started taking telephone calls. I had to hold my temper and let it go. Their waiting area is complete chaos and their staff isnt very efficient at all in helping customers waiting in line. They put a collar on my cat and the collar was off before i got home and i have no idea how to put it back on. Other precautions for my cat were explained last minute and i had no time to prepare.

They cannot make a legal contract with a minor.That is the law,use it.It is illegal for them to do so.They are breaking the law.Lawyer up make them remove it from your credit report and get a nice settlement.Do not let them get away with breaking the law...It is there to protect you use it.

As I mentioned I contacted corporate three different days and got transferred, transferred, put on hold, transferred and no one had a copy of the original bill and no one would make an adjustment

until

Dr. Ari called me. He was the only fair, reasonable, knowledgeable, professional and understanding person in the entire organization. I hope he opens his own practice.

Your response to contact the 877 number that you list here is a poor effort to make it seem to the public that you may wish to help but you dont.

Banfield Pet Hospital Rip-off

I am a life long pet lover and volunteer at humane organizations avidly. Don't get coerced into buying into the Banfield Pet Hospital rip off. They don't fully explain your benefits and the fact that you are locked in for a year...each year, no matter how much you take advantage of their services. I have had three dogs on the opitmum wellness plan for several years and when I tried to cancel service they EXTORTED more money out of me saying I had to pay until year end, even though they only provided a check up to my dogs over the last year. So basically I paid them $600 a year for five years per dog (almost $10,000!!!) and they couldn't be troubled to write off the last $100 in the name of good customer service. To top it off the phone consultant was rude!

Currently very frustrated. I was enrolled in an optimum wellness plan and was reaching the end date, however knowing that It would automatically renew, I called in and cancelled my plan.

Now after thinking that I cancelled it and was fine- never recieving any conformation number or anything, I look at my bank account and they charged me anyway. I am currently on hold for 14 minutes and counting.

I am seriously so frustrated baecuase the last person that I talked to told me the last notes that they had in there information was that i was to call back to cancel, and I was transferred without notice. GRRR if i dont get my money back ASAP im going to freak!

I had a horrible experience today and tried to cancel my service. We may have had the same "customer service" rep!

I asked for a confirmation number, he couldn't give me one. I asked for his last name as a reference and he stated that he would not supply because customers like me get violent! So....I have no way of referencing my cancelation if they attempt to charge me past the "contract" date. I will admit that I was angry but only after he dismissed my concerns and told me that it was normal for my dog to be dehydrated after a visit.

I explained before I got angry that I realized hewas just an employee and he continued to downplay my concerns and patronize me. They should be put out of business!
