I am a vet that worked for Banfield right out of school. At first I thought it was a good company and we were helping animals. Now I have seen the light and know what is going on. Banfield severely overbooks and understaffs their clinics. There were days I would see...

Due to the mismanagement of the vet, my dog is dead. For wellness event...OK. For anything else, please take your beloved pet to a real veterinarian. They don't listen to your concerns, they are more concerned for charging you for services not covered under the wellness plan. They are pet cemetery.

And with those WELLNESS plans, you get a set amount of services in that time period that you have your plan. If you want insurance then get insurance.

Banfield should advertise that they have incompetent veterinarians who can't manage pets with any issues outside of vaccines and dental care. I have repeatedly had to wait for med refills to be sent to the pharmacy, had to call multiple times for the same prescription...
