My 3 year old beagle was seen for diarrgea and fatigue. X-rays show a possible foreign body in the stomach.

We agree to have the foreign body removed via surgery. Day of surgery the surgeons remove the gallbladder without consulting us and never found a foreign body in the stomach. Banfield does not offer overnight care. The surgeon are not board certified.

My dog became septic and now has liver damage.

He also developed an abscess. A vet who wS recommended by a friend told us the gallbladder should never have been removed.

So, just a thought. Gallstones can look just like a gastric foreign body in dogs, they sit right by each other on xrays.

I have no clue on specifics for your dog, just pondering. Sorry your pup is going through this pain

Sue them for malpractice.
