Banfield Pet Hospital - Disbelief, Distraught, Dsgusting
Friday around 5 pm my pregnant yorkie had a discharge/poop that I've never seen. We took her to Banfield in Hiram GA. We paid 186 for an X-ray. The vet explained to us that she noticed 4 sets of spines and 3 heads and referred us to Bluepearl 24 hour emergency room in...

...and all Banfield will do is say that they followed policy and did nothing wrong, but try to shut you up with money to replace your animal as long as you sign a non-disclosure form. I am so sorry for your loss.

They killed our bulldog as well.

The only solice we find is spreading the word to let everyone know of the danger of taking your family pet members to Banfield. They do not care about your pet, they care about how many animals they can fit into a day $$$$.

The investigating Banfield quality rep said the vet put Zeus “in a kennel next to her while she worked on another dog” and our dog aspirated and dropped in that kennel. She could hear him and see him, and she did nothing to assist him as his breathing spiraled out of...

This is one of the most disgusting examples of untrained employees directly causing death and lying to cover up the truth.

Our 2 dogs went into Banfield Hosp. #1638 (Woodhaven, MI) for their biannual check up and shots. We always see a vet before the visit to discuss what would be done and if there are any new concerns. A vet did not come in and the tech said she could handle it. Our dog,...

Banfield Pet Hospital in Shawnee, Kansas - Incorrect Diagnosis

Our pet rabbit died recently from cancer. We had contacted Banfield about blood discharge via urination and they dismissed it over the phone as something that is normal and is related to period cycle of a female rabbit. We were also told not to spay female rabbit as the risks outweigh the benefits. Come to find out harsh reality that she potentially died due to uterine cancer. Two cents to any pet owner, do not choose Banfield for pet care.

Kind of sounds like they were trying to regulate your dog, and looking for a reason why regulation wasnt possible (like cushings disease). Unfortunately cataracts happen in poorly regulated diabetic patients.

But, in the end, blindness, even sudden, is not a reason for euthanasia in most cases. Dogs adjust very well.
