Brighton, Michigan

My daughters dog was neutered last week. Today his balls started to swell, so they took him right in like they were told to do.

When they got there, they were told they could not see him for over an hour. Yet they were told to come right in I'd there was a problem and there is a sign that says injured animals get seen before those with appointments. Right before his surgery their dogs eye swelled up bad and they took him in they said they could leave him and he would get seen at some point in the day.

Both times they sought out another vet whom was more than happy to get him right in. Banfields office manager was every rude and would not even look to see how bad the injury was first.

When an animal is neutered their "balls" are removed. So their balls could not have been "swollen" if they weren't there.

She probably meant that the *** was swollen. The *** is left in place after a neuter and it can actually swell to enormous sizes. It's called a scrotal hematoma and it's a complication of surgery or often a post-surgical complication as a result of the patient irritating the surgical site.
