I have been using Banfield wellness plan for my pets for over 7 years. I am now moving to an area that does not have Banfield so I cannot transfer my plan.
I called our local Banfield and explained my situation.
I was told that it was close to time for the plan for one of my dogs to renew.
I scheduled in good will to get my pet up to date on immunizations and a wellness check only after being told "we should get her in before her plan is due to renew".
I told them that I would not being renewing due moving.
I am now being told that I owe over $500 as her plan just renewed at her last visit. Needless to say I am really upset.
I understand that I should pay for any medications we requested but I do not think I should have a charge for a new plan.
