Mt Juliet TN. I would give this place 0 stars if I could!
Absolutely miserable experience! We took our Great Pyrenees here due to non stop itching for what is obviously an allergy. We keep our dogs treated with flea and tick meds, our great pyr had just had her new monthly treatment, they scoured her fur, couldn't find any flea or tick evidence, so they then pulled her into the back to do a skin scrape, while we watched thru the window they had 3 yes THREE "experts" scouring her entire body for anything..... they couldn't find anything....
they then suggested this may be a derma mange and prescribed a pill for flea and ticks? They also prescribed us a bottle of oatmeal shampoo and told us to bathe her twice a week and some antibiotics that "hopefully will help the itch"????!!! And told to keep her on Benadryl?? Anyone who is a great pyr owner knows that they are not supposed to be bathed frequently as it can cause further skin issues!
Called back today two weeks later to find out that the skin scrape they took that day was negative for mange or anything like that, yet they still insisted we take the $50 pill?!?! And they didn't tell us it was negative at the time just that they thought it was the derma mange. They offered us to bring her in and drop her off.... no thanks, they obviously have no idea what they are doing when it comes to dogs with allergies and want to charge you while they experiment.
Absolutely horrible experience and will not go back! I will be posting this review everywhere....!
