When we tried to euthanize our 18 yr. old cat, we were told $34 over the phone and $147 when we got to the office.
A unsympathetic tech said someone new had made a mistake and they weren't supposed to give quotes over the phone. She went to talk to a doctor and returned to say they could bring the price down to $100. We felt we had been hustled, that these people were "only in for the money," and that they were grossly incompetent and uncaring. That night our cat died.
Later we got a call saying we had an appointment with Banfield to get our cat vaccinated. It's hard to believe people can screw up so badly.
